  • Tank Size: Minimum 5 gallons for a single pea puffer; 10–20 gallons for groups.

  • Setup: Dense planting with hiding spots; they thrive in heavily planted aquascapes.

  • Tank Mates: Best kept alone or with fast, non-fin-nipping species. Avoid slow fish with long fins.
